I’m Elle – an award-winning health coach, reiki healer, cancer survivor, and someone who truly understands the storm you’re facing. I created Own Your Health With Elle because I believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered, even in the face of cancer, burnout or big life moments.
In 2019, I was living what many would call “the dream.” Running marathons. Crushing it in a top corporate role. Traveling, socialising, feeling strong and unstoppable.
And then, suddenly, it all stopped.
I was diagnosed with stage 2, grade 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer — an aggressive and rare cancer that's more likely to strike young women like me.
At 33, my life flipped upside down overnight.
What followed was 3.5 years of grueling treatment: 11 months chemotherapy, surgeries, radiotherapy, and two years of immunotherapy. I endured side effects that robbed me of my fertility, my identity, and the ability to simply feel like myself. From losing my hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows… to hands so numb and cracked I couldn’t hold a pen... to hospital stays with life-threatening infections…
I faced an invisible battle few truly understand.
After treatment, I quickly realised surviving cancer was only part of the story.
The real challenge was rebuilding a life and body that felt whole again — without burning out or losing myself in the process.
I studied health and nutrition coaching while still working in corporate, driven by a fierce desire to stay alive and help others do the same.
This unique journey — from high-achieving survivor to qualified coach to balanced, true self — gave me a deep understanding of what it really takes to heal.
