Why You Might Need a Women’s Health Coach (Even If You Think You’re Fine)
Written by Elle Sproll
When people hear the phrase “women’s health coach,” they often picture green juices, gym schedules, or someone barking about meal prep.
That’s not what I do.
As a Certified Women’s Health Coach, and someone who’s personally navigated cancer, burnout and the pressure of having it all together—I’ve seen how many women don’t realise they need support until their body forces a wake-up call.
So let’s talk about what a women’s health coach really does—and why this kind of support might be exactly what your body and mind have been craving.
What Is a Women’s Health Coach, Exactly?

A women’s health coach supports you in understanding your body, stress, energy, and habits—so you can take control of your wellbeing in a way that feels sustainable.
It’s not about 12-week shred programs or unrealistic “clean eating.”
It is about building better habits around:
• Fatigue, burnout & hormone balance
• Inflammation, gut health & chronic stress
• Post-illness recovery (especially after cancer or autoimmune issues)
• Sleep, mindset, movement, and emotional wellbeing
In short: I help women improve their inner landscape and feel like themselves again—without crash diets, supplements or shame.
5 Signs You Might Need a Women’s Health Coach
You don’t need a diagnosis to know something feels off.
If any of these sound familiar, it might be time to get support:
1. You’re tired all the time, even when you sleep.
You feel flat, foggy, and wired-but-tired. You’re sick of running on coffee and pushing through.
2. Your stress has become your normal.
You’ve forgotten what calm feels like. You’re constantly juggling—and when you do stop, you crash.
3. You’re constantly googling symptoms or diets.
You feel overwhelmed by advice, but deep down you know a Band-Aid won’t fix it.
4. You’ve had a major health event and don’t know what comes next.
Maybe it’s cancer. Maybe it’s burnout. Either way, recovery feels lonely and unsupported.
5. You want more from your health—but don’t know where to start.
You want energy, confidence, clarity. You want to feel good—without flipping your life upside down.
Why I Became a Women’s Health Coach

I was that high-achiever who did everything “right”—until I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer at 33.
I had 11 months of chemo, 28 rounds of radiotherapy, multiple surgeries and two years of immunotherapy. But the hardest part? Rebuilding afterwards. No one teaches you how to trust your body again. No one shows you how to eat when food gives you anxiety. No one prepares you for how every ache and pain sends you straight to worst-case scenario. No one helps you shift out of survival mode.
So I became the coach I wish I’d had.
Today, I guide women through that same messy middle—after illness, burnout, or just years of putting everyone else first.
